Jeep's adventures have a new honored guest on their routes: electric motors. The Jeep Avenger, the company's new electric SUV, has revolutionized the automotive market: in the year of its debut, it won the prestigious title of 2023 Car of the Year. Designed and manufactured in Europe, this battery electric vehicle embodies the brand's DNA while adapting to the evolution of the industry and societal concerns regarding emission reduction. To achieve this, this vehicle is zero emissions.

The best quality of the Avenger is its functionality. It is a small SUV perfect for everyday city driving as well as off-road adventures: compact on the outside but very spacious on the inside, offering room for travelers and gear. With 34 liters of internal storage, it has plenty of space for everyday items. It is the ideal travel companion for commuting to work or going on vacation, shopping, exploring, partying, or sharing. It features 360-degree impact protection, encapsulated lights for protection, and ensures total freedom of movement.

In terms of driving, it is dynamic and easy to handle thanks to its dimensions. In fact, at 4.08 meters, it is the most compact Jeep, while allowing five passengers to travel with their belongings. It features a hands-free rear liftgate for added functionality.

All of this, combined with modern, efficient, and safe technological equipment, even with level 2 autonomous driving capability with blind spot monitoring sensors, autonomous emergency braking with protection for vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists, automatic parking, and a 180-degree rearview camera with drone view. Furthermore, it is a fully connected vehicle, designed for customers seeking a great digital experience on board through its smartphone-like infotainment system. Additionally, to park on public streets without losing time, it has a system to identify the most available streets in terms of open parking spots.

It has a 400-volt electric motor to offer a range of 400 km combined, and up to 550 km in urban driving. It also has fast charging capability that allows for 30 kilometers of range in just 3 minutes and charging from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes. Thanks to the efficiency of its propulsion system, combined with the vehicle's lightness (1,500 kilos), the Avenger offers class-leading energy consumption among its competitors, with 15.4 kWh per 100 km in the combined cycle.

Due to the combination of various factors (capacity, style, versatility, and technology), it is the right choice for those seeking a compact, robust, and 'cool' vehicle that offers cutting-edge technology, space, and comfort while also being a lot of fun, as explained by Eric Laforge, head of the Jeep brand in Europe. The Avenger provides the features that characterize the brand in a compact size, guaranteeing peace of mind on any terrain. Agile, responsive, and offering a pleasant driving experience, the vehicle delivers good performance thanks to its immediate torque and silent operation.

A Journey of Success

At its unveiling at last year's Paris Motor Show, the Jeep Avenger captivated both customers and industry experts. It has been acclaimed and, even before the first vehicles were delivered in Europe, received recognition as 2023 Car of the Year and Best Family SUV at the 2023 Women's World Car Awards. Factors such as safety, quality, price, design, drivability, performance, and environmental footprint were taken into account. The jury valued its bold design, off-road capability, and future-proof value.

This vehicle is part of Jeep's electrification strategy, with a new wave of four BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) models set to hit the market by 2025. By the end of 2030, all of Jeep's European sales are expected to be fully electric, following the European Union's roadmap for electrifying the automotive sector.
