Dubai is not known for its simplicity; the most futuristic city on the planet is one of the places where we can find some of the most luxurious hotels in the world located in architecturally significant buildings.

As if that weren't enough, on March 1st, it opened one of the most anticipated projects of recent years, a posthumous work by architect Zaha Hadid, the first woman to receive the Pritzker Prize in architecture.

We're talking about ME Dubai, the new crown jewel of Meliá Hotels International that promises to be the new mecca for all lovers of premium experiences. The hotel is located in the spectacular building The Opus by Omniyat, designed entirely by the Anglo-Iraqi architect who has left a new structure in the heart of the Burj Khalifa district; a building that is now part of the skyline of the most impressive city on Earth.

It is worth noting that Zaha Hadid, the architect behind this imposing building, is the author of other great structures that have marked a before and after in architecture worldwide. In Spain, she designed spaces like the Spiralling Tower in Barcelona and the Hotel Silken Puerta América in Madrid.

Two futuristic buildings that stand out for their whites, the sinuous and fluid spheres, and that imaginary spectrum that transports us directly to science fiction through cutting-edge architecture and, above all, a new era in architecture.

ME Dubai, for its part, will feature 74 rooms and 19 suites, including the Passion Suite, Personality Suite, Vibe Room, and the ultra-luxurious ME Suite. All of this under the impressive originality of Hadid's design, which reinvents the balance between solid and void, opaque and transparent, interior and exterior...

The Opus, the name of the building housing ME Dubai, spans a total of 84,345 square meters distributed across two towers that connect in a cube shape, leaving an impressive central space with unique views.

Thus, it will not only become an ultra-luxury hotel in the most extravagant city on the planet, but it will also be a contemporary space firmly committed to sustainability, as the UAE's 2021 goal is to be one of the leading countries in the world in sustainable development and environmental preservation.
