The Most Refreshing and Fun Splash of the Summer: Caribe Aquatic Park
The thermometers show no mercy, and the high temperatures invite you to take a dip. As if under a spell, your steps lead you to Caribe Aquatic Park, the water park of PortAventura World.
You haven't brought your swimsuit, but no problem, before you start looking for Woody, you stop by the Costa Caribe Shop to buy everything you need for the day: swimsuit, flip-flops, sunscreen, and while you're at it, a small souvenir.
You find yourself in a lush tropical setting with 16 water attractions that will refresh you, entertain you, and hopefully give you a hint about where to find Woody.
You want to start the search and you're determined. Among the intense rides, you can't decide whether to try El Tifón (where you'll experience a strong tropical storm) or King Khajuna (which was the highest slide in Europe when it opened in 2013 and allows you to descend from over 30 meters in less than 2 seconds). You opt for a 2-for-1 and try the two most thrilling water attractions at Caribe Aquatic Park, but as for Woody, there's no sign of him.
Your instinct tells you that Woody might be in the park, enjoying gentler rides or at least something more moderate. You head toward the Indoor Zone El Gran Caribe and see the little ones having fun surrounded by jets and water guns, an incredible life-size airplane, nets, ball pits, and slides.
In the distance, you see a group of children playing with something that looks like a feather. It looks like it could belong to Woody. You approach and ask. Indeed, the mascot of PortAventura World passed by El Gran Caribe a while ago and, apparently, joined a group of friends to head to El Triángulo de las Bermudas, the most challenging wave pool at Caribe Aquatic Park.
After a while of jumping waves, you see people start to leave in a frenzy, and you don't quite understand what's happening. You ask around, and the answer leaves you speechless. Tonight at PortAventura, the Birthday Parade will celebrate the 30th anniversary of PortAventura World. And, they confirm, Woody will be present.
