A Floating Supermarket for Yachts in Dubai

To solve the issue of supplying food to boats, Carrefour has opened AquaPod, a floating supermarket dedicated precisely to that. There are two purchasing options: you can either approach in a boat, jet ski, or watercraft from any of the yachts to shop, or you can call, place your order, and they will deliver it to your boat, with a delivery service that takes about 45 minutes.

It will not only service yachts but also jet skis and even tourists who are at the main beaches.

This floating supermarket may not have the variety of a regular one, but it does offer a selection of about 300 products including drinks, snacks, and salads. It operates from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Additionally, Carrefour's Aqua Pod has been built with an eco-friendly focus. It operates on rechargeable batteries that allow it to navigate for hours while simultaneously cleaning the waters of Dubai with a type of vacuum that collects trash and stores it in a tank. Moreover, it will only offer straws, containers, and bags that are biodegradable.
