Hotel Gold River: Relive the Gold Rush Without Leaving PortAventura World

You arrive at the Gold River Hotel coming from the Colorado Creek Hotel. Both are located in the same themed area, and you feel like a sheriff from the Wild West on a mission to catch the villain. The only difference is that, in this case, it's not about finding the worst of the bad, but rather about finding the mascot of PortAventura World.

You immerse yourself in Sullivan City, the recreation of an old American West town, and head to the reception to get a clue about Woody. They tell you that the Gold River Hotel is one of the guests' favorites for its atmosphere and comfort, but Mr. Woodpecker hasn't made an appearance yet.

You decide to keep searching the Gold River Hotel, so you make your way to "The Callaghan's", a hotel within a hotel that features premium rooms. There, you find decorative items such as kerosene lamps, beds with carved wooden headboards, sepia photos, and patchwork quilts that bring to mind films from the Wild West. And in the background, country music plays, providing the perfect ambiance.

Fatigue begins to set in and Woody still hasn't shown up. You wander through other rooms of the Gold River Hotel and, when you open the curtain of one of them for inspiration, you see the Stampida attraction right before your eyes. You didn't imagine that being so close to PortAventura Park would feel so real!
