On April 8th, the largest maze in Spain will open its doors in the town of Villapresente, located in Cantabria. This maze features a course that spans over 5,000 square meters, reaching four kilometers of pathways, making it the largest maze in Spain. Its "walls" are made up of 4,000 lush pine trees standing 2.5 meters tall.

Its creator is Emilio Pérez Carral, a forest worker who four years ago decided to bring to life the secrets of a maze known only to him and his daughter. In fact, those who choose to enter the maze will receive Emilio's phone number in case they can't find the exit.

The course is designed to be completed in one to one and a half hours, although those with good navigation skills - according to Emilio - will be able to finish it in 30 minutes. The entrance fee has not yet been set, but its owner estimates it will be around 3 to 4 euros to ensure it remains an activity accessible to the whole family.
