Local Maps and Information with QDQ Mobile
The Spanish branch of PagesJaunes Groupe, QDQ Media, has launched a service that allows users to enjoy multiple functionalities from any mobile phone via the Internet, just by typing www.qdq.com in the browser.
Among other benefits, users can find out what services are around a specific address by locating them on the local map in practically any corner of Spain.
The service, which has involved more than a year of research and development for QDQ, integrates all the utilities of the online QDQ search engine, such as searching for restaurants, hotels, taxis, checking weather or traffic information, or planning an itinerary through the "Your City" section. It is another resource that adapts to the user's needs at the most opportune moment, as it provides access to more than 40,000 advertisers and 2,000,000 registered companies that the company has, and is available nationwide in the eight languages integrated on its QDQ website: Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and regional languages.
Additionally, the "Call Free" service is now available on mobile devices. This means that any user of the guide can contact the advertiser who has subscribed to it for free.
Another innovation of QDQ Mobile is the local photo maps of Barcelona, Madrid, Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Sevilla, Valencia, Valladolid, and Zaragoza. This service is exclusively offered by QDQ.com
