Under the proposal to make "high-speed rail more accessible to all train users in Spain," this company promises cheaper high-speed and long-distance train tickets to reach a broader audience in our country and thereby improve mobility for Spaniards.

Additionally, starting September 24, for the first 10,000 users who register on their websiteouigo.com/es, tickets will be offered for one euro to travel to Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, and Tarragona.

How Will These Trains Be?

This fleet of trains, which aims to revolutionize mobility in Spain with its low prices, will consist of Alstom Euroduplex models. In other words, two-story trains where safety distances will be guaranteed, as well as passenger comfort, which will allow prices for journeys to decrease.

Additionally, these trains will also feature individual power outlets for each passenger.

For now, they will begin operations next year on the Madrid-Barcelona route with stops in Zaragoza and Tarragona. However, they plan to gradually expand their service to reach Valencia, Alicante, Córdoba, Seville, and Malaga.
