Low-Cost Transportation at Your Fingertips

When planning a trip, the second thing we think about - the first is always the destination - is how we will get to the chosen place. Sometimes, due to its distance, we don't have much option beyond flying, but when the getaway is nearby, the transportation options multiply and, therefore, the prices. To help with this decision, gopili was created, a platform collaboratively developed by travelers that includes conventional transport - train, bus, and airplane - as well as shared transport.

The novelty of gopili is precisely this; it has become the first and only comprehensive travel search engine that allows users to compare all types of transport: trains, buses, flights, and shared cars. To achieve this, it collaborates with over 500 transport companies to which it directs users. In other words, gopili does not sell tickets or make deals, but once users find the best travel option, they are redirected to the operator's website to finalize the transaction. This allows users not to pay commissions or extra fees.

Optimized for access via a computer, smartphone, or tablet, and with an app available on iOS and Android, another feature of this search engine is that it was created collaboratively by the users themselves, through a process that lasted five years and involved more than 100 volunteer travelers.

In addition, gopili aims to offer added value to its users. It has created a Travelboard where users can see what happens behind each trip. This tool provides real-time data on traveler trends: how many trips are made every minute, how many of them are by bus, how many people are visiting the Prado Museum, the number of lost luggage, or how many foreign tourists are arriving in the United States... Every second counts!
