New Youth Card from Renfe

The new card recently launched by Renfe offers discounts of between 25% and 50% on ticket prices for travelers aged 14 to 25. "+Renfe Joven 50" is personal, nominative, and non-transferable.

Specifically, this card provides a 25% discount on Avant, Media Distancia, and Cercanías tickets. For AVE-Long Distance tickets, the discount percentage varies depending on how far in advance the ticket is purchased, which always must belong to the Flexible fare.

Thus, it will be 50% if purchased one month or more in advance, 40% if the purchase is made 15 days or more before, and 30% if the purchase is made less than 15 days in advance.

This card is available in passbook, passwallet, and PDF format, and can be purchased at renfe.com for a price of 25 euros until February 22, and 50 euros after that date.

As for the validity of "+Renfe Joven 50," it lasts for one year, and with its purchase, you become part of the +Renfe loyalty program and earn Renfe Points with each trip.
