Private Jet Villa, the Impressive Plane-Hotel on a Cliff in Bali

The world is full of luxurious hotels located in impossible places and built in shapes that would only fit in dreams. Tree houses, ice-made rooms, beds in a cave, underwater suites, and floating hotels. Extravagance and the impossible are the order of the day, and hotel complex owners do not want to fall behind in the competition to be the most impressive in the world.

When we think of sleeping on a plane, we picture uncomfortable seats, long trips, noise, and turbulence. But this concept is going to change completely when you visit the Private Jet Villa by Hanging Garden, a luxurious hotel integrated into the interior of a plane located on a cliff in Bali.

In 2014, after the closure of Mandala Airlines, a Boeing 737 was left abandoned far from one of the airports in Indonesia. In 2021, this plane was purchased by a Russian businessman who decided to convert it into a luxury hotel and transport it to Pecatu, a cliff located just five minutes from Nyang-Nyang Beach, one of the best beaches in Bali.

As a good luxury hotel, this unusual accommodation will feature numerous lavish elements where relaxation and comfort will be the stars. The plane, measuring 40 meters in length and weighing over 40,000 kilos, maintains its structure, wheels, and engine, while its interior transforms into an incredible hotel. The project by Russian businessman Felix Demin, which began in 2021, is set to open in June 2023.

The windshield that allows pilots to see the runway will become a massive window for the main bathroom where you can enjoy a relaxing bath in a spectacular white-toned bathtub. The hotel will have two bathrooms with a shower and bathtub, sink, and toilet.

Inside the Boeing 737, there are two double bedroom suites, a full kitchen, a living room, Wi-Fi, and 24-hour reception, all decorated in neutral colors with beige and stone tones providing an elegant and minimalist touch. Outside, an infinity pool accompanied by sun loungers and a small fire pit invites guests to relax and enjoy.

A walkway built over the wing of the plane culminates in a dreamy spot to enjoy the views of Nyang-Nyang Beach. The accommodation passed numerous safety measures, including a barrier on the rock to prevent landslides. The hotel is completing the final renovations so that starting June 1, visitors can stay at the Private Jet Villa for around €6,700 a night.
