Siam Park in Tenerife, the Best Water Park in the World
Siam Park, located off the coast of Adeje in the south of Tenerife, has been named the Best Water Park in the World for the second consecutive year in the Travellers' Choice Attractions awarded by TripAdvisor, the largest travel website in the world.
This park, inspired by the ancient Kingdom of Siam in Southeast Asia, covers more than 185,000 m², making it the largest water park in Europe. Among its attractions, the highlight is the Tower Power, a slide that is 28 meters tall and 76 meters long, where thrill-seekers can enjoy a thrilling drop that ends by passing through an aquarium inhabited by sharks. In addition, the Tenerife park boasts the highest artificial wave in the world, perfect for surfing on a beach made of sand from the Portuguese Algarve. This summer, a new attraction called Singha will open, which will surprise visitors.
Without leaving the island, the long-established Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz, open since 1972, has been named the Best Zoo in Europe and the second Best Zoo in the World.
This is the third year that the Travellers' Choice Attractions awards have recognized the most important leisure and theme travel destinations in the world based on user reviews and feedback from TripAdvisor.
