Opened in 1867, the Paris Aquarium is located across from the Eiffel Tower and now features an exclusive underwater room where six guests can spend the night alongside 35 sharks on April 11, 12, and 13. Specifically designed for the aquarium, this room is situated in a ten-meter deep tank and is a fully transparent circular wall of 360 degrees.

To stay in this unique room, the vacation rental platform Airbnb is running a contest where participants must explain why they deserve to experience this opportunity. The winners will be three individuals who can bring a guest and will enjoy the experience on April 11, 12, or 13.

In addition to the overnight stay, Airbnb will cover round-trip flights from the winners' home countries, breakfast the following day, a private dinner for two at the Paris Aquarium, and a private tour of the aquarium with a marine biologist (in English or French). The host will be Fred Buyle, a world champion free diver, underwater photographer, and shark conservationist.

To participate, you need to visit the Airbnb website before 11:59 PM (Central European Time) on April 3, 2016.

After this unique experience, the room will become a study area for biologists. This structure will help reduce the number of dives and thus the emission of bubbles, allowing biologists to observe a more natural behavior of the fish. The fish residing in this aquarium are already accustomed to it.
