The 8 Most Expensive Hotel Rooms in the World
We travel the world in search of the most luxurious, eccentric, and spectacularly expensive hotel rooms. Indeed, the world is filled with luxury, culminating in hotels that cater exclusively to those demanding both opulence and comfort.
However, luxury is relative, and the only way to create a ranking that closely reflects reality is to order these rooms by their price. We have achieved this thanks to a study conducted by SleepSeeker, which has ranked the most expensive rooms on the planet. Unsurprisingly, Madrid has one of them.
1. Royal Suite with Views of the Kaaba, Mecca
The most expensive hotel room in the world is at the Raffles Makkah Palace with its luxurious suite overlooking the Kaaba. This room, featuring all kinds of amenities, includes two bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as a dressing room and marble decor throughout.
If that weren't enough, the suite offers views of the iconic Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam. But everything comes at a price... and this particular room costs a staggering 18,266 euros per night.
2. Royal Suite with King Bed, Florence
The second most expensive hotel room on the planet is located in Florence, specifically at the Four Seasons Hotel Florence. This 234-square-meter suite is adjacent to the Giardino della Gheradesca botanical gardens and is decorated with highly ornate stuccos and frescoes that remind us of the city's rich art history.
These spacious, bright rooms also feature Renaissance-inspired decor, while still adding a touch of modern luxury. However, staying in this room comes at a price of around 16,000 euros per night.
3. Deluxe Room with Jacuzzi, Rome
We move to another Italian city to find the third most expensive hotel room on the planet. We arrive at the Relais Orso Hotel, which stands out for its more minimalist approach to design.
This luxurious double room features exposed brick walls and polished concrete. Minimalism and luxury are the two words that define it. However... luxury comes at a price, and in this case, it's nearly 13,000 euros per night.
4. Royal Suite, Brussels
We head to Brussels and stop at the Rocco Forte Hotel to discover a luxurious decor heavily inspired by nature. From the forest wallpaper in the private hallway to the furnishings in the spacious living room and dressing room, everything transports us to nature.
However... resting in this stunning suite comes with an impressive price of 7,793 euros per night. In other words: suitable only for a select few.
5. Two-Bedroom Oceanfront Suite, Miami
Miami oozes luxury and extravagance. This is perfectly reflected in the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, specifically in this luxurious suite. This room features its own private elevator, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a large and spectacular marble bathroom, and a private balcony with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Can we ask for anything more? Well... if we can tell you that the room has contemporary decor that blends perfectly with the colors, complementing the ocean views. But everything has its price, and this suite costs 7,995 euros per night.
6. Royal Suite, Madrid
Spain also makes it to this ranking, specifically with the Mandarin Oriental Ritz in Madrid. This suite features an oval living room and is decorated with a circular sofa and two circular tables.
The room is adorned with warm earth tones, including a natural mica ceiling. According to this study, this room is priced at 7,300 euros, but the website does not specify its price, and it can only be booked by sending an email.
8. Gravity Suite with Ocean Views, Hurghada
We travel to Egypt, specifically to the Gravity Hotel & Aqua Park in Hurghada, to find the final suite in this ranking, elegantly decorated across its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, and dining area with soft warm and natural tones. This suite is perfect for guests seeking luxury and relaxation.
However... for discerning guests, the prices are high. This suite is priced at 5,780 euros per night and, of course, offers panoramic views of the sea.
