The Christmas Train, a Magical Journey for the Whole Family
The foundation of Spanish Railways, with the sponsorship of Renfe, has once again put into circulation the Christmas Train. A very special transport where children can enjoy a journey full of excitement and magic during the holiday season.
This 'magical train' will depart from the Madrid Railway Museum, located very close to the 'Delicias' metro and commuter train station, and all travelers, both young and old, will have an invitation to visit it on the day of their journey and enjoy the scheduled holiday activities.
This year, the train consists of two wooden 'Costa' cars and two dining cars, where we can enhance the experience by enjoying refreshments. All cars will be from between 1920 and 1930, transforming it into a true journey back in time filled with Christmas magic.
This experience will be available from December 26 to January 5, with three daily trips lasting approximately one hour during which children will have fun with onboard entertainment and the Royal Page, who will be responsible for collecting letters addressed to Their Majesties from the East.
But it doesn't end there; on January 5, there will be very special passengers on all trips: the Three Wise Men, who will board the train after a long journey from the East.
Schedule, Prices, and Where to Buy Tickets
The 'magical trains' will run daily from December 26 to January 5 (except on January 1, when the train takes a break), making three one-hour trips at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:20 PM, departing from the Railway Museum.
