The New 360° Rooftop of Hotel Riu Plaza España is the Place with the Best Views of the Capital

The Plaza España building has finally reopened its doors and has done so with the Hotel Riu Plaza España. This is apparently much more than just a hotel, as it boasts one of the most impressive rooftops in all of Madrid. It is named the From Madrid to the Sky Sky Bar and has quickly been considered the best terrace of all time.

It's no surprise that it has earned this title just days after opening, as this space offers 360-degree views of the capital. To access the terrace, you must go up to the 26th floor of the building, which is done in a high-speed elevator that takes only seconds.

Another feature that has made this Sky Bar one of the most coveted is its now-famous 'hanging' bridge or walkway that connects one side of the terrace to the other in the most original and dizzying way imaginable.

What is clear is that this place is not for the faint-hearted, but if you're a fan of heights, this bridge with a completely transparent floor is the perfect spot to admire Madrid and recognize each of the iconic buildings that make up the city.

The From Madrid to the Sky terrace at Hotel Riu Plaza España has two bars where you can order drinks and dishes from the menu. Prices range from 2.50 to 23 euros: approximately, soft drinks cost 4 euros, beers and wine 5, mixed drinks 10, and cocktails 12 euros.

No reservation is needed to ascend to the 26th floor of Hotel Riu. The price to go up to the rooftop is 5 euros per person before 6:00 PM, and if you decide to go up later, the price is 10 euros. In both cases, 5 euros will be deducted from the total amount spent on the purchase at the Sky Bar.
