When you think back on your childhood, what are your most memorable vacations?

Diverse. With my mother in Altafulla (Tarragona), I had no friends; I cleaned horses. With my father in Nepal, the United States... I believe traveling opens the mind a bit.

What was the first trip you took without your parents?

To London: a disaster! Delivering newspapers at five in the morning at the subway entrance. And to Mexico.

If you didn't live where you do now, what city would you like to live in?

In no city. I need nature, at least for now.

Which destination would you like to visit if you had the time and/or money?

I'm a deep foodie who loves to eat, cook... I would go to Japan, but I lack time. Thank God I have a lot of work. When I retire.

Your favorite spot on the planet?

I'm not going to tell you my favorite spot on the planet.

Have you ever traveled inspired by a book, movie, or album?

In the style of Carlos Ruiz Zafón, through Barcelona, to seek out the little corner of the house where I don't know what happened. I'm a bit driven by myths. Or to Brooklyn (New York) to find the corner from the movie Smoke where you were happy watching that film. That's beautiful in itself... even if you don't end up finding it.

Favorite mode of transportation?

My favorite means of transportation is the motorcycle.

What's the most bizarre thing you've bought on one of your trips?

I have a weakness for instruments. I don't play any, but if I see one... an egg-shaped instrument, a small drum, something... I have a decorative African drum... the intention was to play it!

What can't you leave behind in your suitcase?

Cream deodorant.
