The World of Ferrari Comes to PortAventura

The opening of Ferrari Land is scheduled for 2016 and will be made possible thanks to the agreement reached between the two companies: Ferrari S.p.A and PortAventura Entertainment S.A.U.

The new theme park will cover an area of 75,000 square meters, featuring various exciting attractions for fans of the Ferrari brand, including the tallest and fastest vertical accelerator in Europe.

Additionally, Ferrari Land will also include the first themed hotel of the brand. This establishment will be a five-star hotel with 250 rooms, as well as restaurants, shops, and extensive areas where racing car simulators will be located.

Ferrari Land will be the second theme park of the brand in the world after the opening of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi in 2010, covering 200,000 square meters. In this regard, Andrea Perrone, CEO of Ferrari Brand, said: "After the success of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, we have received many requests to build new entertainment parks. (...) We decided to accept the one from Investindustrial because it is a solid project run by a very professional team, and it is an opportunity to bring the spirit of Ferrari to Spain, where we have many fans and followers, including many tourists attracted to the charms of the PortAventura destination resort."
