The most spectacular buildings in the world, architecturally speaking, have just been discovered, and not by us... but by one of the architecture awards from one of the most popular architecture and design websites worldwide.

At the end of August, we told you about the amazing buildings around the world that were contenders for the Dezeen Awards, tiny houses in the woods, bus stations with places to shelter... and even buildings cut in half.

Now, finally, the Dezeen Awards, which features a jury of 75 prominent figures in the architecture world including impressive personalities like Norman Foster and Michael Anastassiades, have selected their winners in the Architecture category.

But don't be mistaken... in these awards, beauty is not the most important factor. It's clear that the winners must meet several criteria such as aesthetic rigor, fine details, and good use of materials. But they also must provide innovation to the architecture world and, above all, show consideration for the environment.
