Casa Batlló in Barcelona named Best Monument in Europe
Throughout Europe, there are many notable places and monuments that deserve a visit. That is why the online cultural ticketing platform, Tiqets, holds the Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards each year to recognize and celebrate the best attractions and museums in the most visited cities. In the latest edition, Casa Batlló, one of the most iconic buildings in Barcelona, was named the best monument in Europe.
However, this architectural masterpiece designed by Antoni Gaudí was not the only Spanish location to win an award; the Velázquez Tech Museum in Madrid took first place in the Best Hidden Treasure category. It is an immersive gallery that showcases classic art in a modern way.
