The first problems before starting our vacation usually arise at the airport. Often, the poor management of the airline we fly with causes us more than one headache. Therefore, with this list created by AirHelp of the worst airlines in the world, at least you can't say we didn't warn you...

To create this ranking, statistical flight databases and user feedback were utilized to classify the airlines based on three criteria: punctuality (a flight was considered on time if it departed within 15 minutes after the published departure time and arrived within 15 minutes after the scheduled arrival time), quality of service during the flight, and handling of complaints regarding canceled or delayed flights. Here are the results:

  1. Thomas Cook Airlines
  1. easyJet
  1. Kuwait Airways
  1. Korean Air
  1. Ryanair
  1. Norwegian Air
  1. Lauda
  1. Transavia
  1. Aerolineas Argentinas
  1. Adria Airways
  1. Vueling Airlines
  1. TAP Air Portugal
  1. Air Mauritius
  1. Czech Airlines
  1. Gol

In the case of low-cost airlines like Ryanair, easyJet, and Norwegian Air, their scores place them in the worst positions on the list; however, on the opposite side, Qatar Airways maintained its position from 2018, with a high rate of on-time flights, excellent service, and quick and effective handling of claims.
